Learning to...
Journal Entry: Fri Dec 28, 2007, 2:16 AM
Ever since the incident of another person stealing my work back in 2004, I've always been reluctant to show my work online. "What if somebody claims this...something I spent hours making, as their own?" Those thoughts always straddled my mind. I was too scared to share my "art" with other people, even my best friends.
Then I read an editorial about learning to express creativity.
"Creativity is putting your heart out for the world to see."
I've never been so gripped by a quote. I realized how stupid I was. If I worked my ass off to produce something, then why not share with the world? Yes, there are some immature morons who steal other people's work, but hey, nobody will look twice at an imposer, because later they can't produce their own work to save their lives.
I'm learning to be confident about the work I put up online. I'm good with criticism, to a certain point, I guess.
I'm learning.

EEEE! I love you, too.
When did you join? A while ago? Am I just really behind the times?
And thank you. I'm checking out your gallery now and I like what you have so far. That palm tree is great!
